This page explains the data definitions for the My Number Card penetration dashboard provided by the Digital Agency. Daily averages are calculated by dividing cumulative totals by the number of days in a period. Cumulative values represent the total as of a specified date, accounting for decreases due to death or loss. Monthly aggregation is based on calendar months. Card holdings exclude invalid cards from issuance. Application counts include only valid applications, excluding those with document errors or withdrawn applications. Possession rates are calculated by dividing holdings by population. Health insurance registration and public fund account registration are similarly defined with valid counts and registration rates.
