This page is a press release from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare dated May 21, 2021, announcing administrative measures against pharmaceutical companies. In relation to violations by Kobayashi Kako Co., Ltd., the ministry issued business improvement orders under the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law to three companies: Meiji Seika Pharma Co., Ltd., Elmed Co., Ltd., and Daiichi Sankyo ES Pharma Co., Ltd. All violating pharmaceuticals were jointly developed with Kobayashi Kako, which provided the documentation used in the companies' approval applications.
