In relation to violations by Kobayashi Kako Co., Ltd., the ministry issued business improvement orders under the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law to three companies: Meiji Seika Pharma Co., Ltd., Elmed Co., Ltd., and Daiichi Sankyo ES Pharma Co., Ltd. All violating pharmaceuticals were jointly developed with Kobayashi Kako, which provided the documentation used in the companies' approval applications.
