This page announces administrative measures taken by Tokyo and Osaka against wholesale pharmaceutical distributors regarding counterfeit C-type hepatitis treatment drug "Harvoni Combination Tablets." On March 13, 2017, Tokyo issued improvement orders to five companies: Yell Pharmaceutical, Daiko Pharmaceutical, Takayo Pharmaceutical, Fuji Pharmaceutical, and Nogawa Pharmaceutical. Osaka issued an order to Global Net Ells. All orders were based on the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law Article 72-4, Paragraph 1, to ensure product quality, efficacy, and safety.
