This page announces the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's decision to lift the shipment suspension of hepatitis B vaccine "Beamgen" and hepatitis A vaccine "Eimgen" manufactured by the Chemical and Serum Therapy Research Institute. The suspension was issued in September 2015 due to discrepancies between approved specifications and actual manufacturing practices. After detailed review, authorities determined no significant impact on quality and safety. Based on the Infectious Disease Subcommittee's recommendation and supply shortage concerns, shipment approval was restored.
