This page announces the lifting of a shipment suspension for hepatitis B and A vaccines manufactured by the Chemical and Serum Therapeutic Research Institute. Due to discrepancies between approved specifications and actual manufacturing practices, shipments were suspended in September 2015. Following Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare review and deliberation by the Health Science Council, it was determined that product quality and safety were not significantly affected. The suspension was lifted on this date to prevent hepatitis and ensure stable vaccine supply.
