The Nuclear Disaster Response Headquarters announced the lifting of food shipment restrictions on three items previously banned under the Nuclear Emergency Response Special Measures Act. These include bamboo shoots from Ryugasaki City, Ibaraki Prefecture; bamboo shoots from Sakae Town, Chiba Prefecture; and sea bass caught off the coast of Ibaraki Prefecture. The restrictions were lifted after radiation inspection results met the safety standards based on applications from the respective prefectures.
