The Nuclear Disaster Countermeasures Headquarters announces the lifting of shipment restrictions on food products previously restricted under the Nuclear Emergency Response Act. The restrictions were lifted for bamboo shoots from Ryugasaki City, Ibaraki Prefecture, bamboo shoots from Sakae Town, Chiba Prefecture, and Japanese sea bass caught off the coast of Ibaraki Prefecture. The lifting was instructed by the headquarters based on applications from the respective prefectures.
