Quarantine monitoring tests detected the pesticide Pencycuron exceeding the safety standard in fresh Dutch cabbages, prompting mandatory full-lot inspections under the Food Sanitation Law. Two violations were identified: 0.03 ppm in Union Co., Ltd.'s shipment and 0.08 ppm in Royal Co., Ltd.'s shipment, both exceeding the 0.01 ppm standard for cabbage. Pencycuron has different safety limits for other foods.
