This page announces administrative dispositions issued by Tokyo and Osaka prefectures against wholesale pharmaceutical distributors for violations of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law. The action was taken following the discovery of counterfeit Harvoni tablets used for hepatitis C treatment. On March 13, 2017, Tokyo imposed improvement orders on five companies: Yell Pharmacy, Daiko Pharmacy, Takayo Pharmacy, Fuji Pharmacy, and Nogawa Pharmacy. Osaka issued an improvement order to Global Net Elz Corporation.
