This page is the official website of Kiyosato Town in Hokkaido, located at the base of the UNESCO World Heritage Shiretoko Peninsula. The town features stunning natural attractions including Mount Sharidake and Kamui Kotan (God's Child Pond), created from underground water from Lake Mashu. The pond maintains a cool 8°C year-round, with submerged logs resembling fossils and char fish swimming through them. With a population of 3,537, Kiyosato Town is a member of "Japan's Most Beautiful Villages" association and provides comprehensive information on living, health, welfare, and tourism.
