This page presents a message from Fumito Takeshita, the newly appointed Director-General of the Shikoku Bureau of Telecommunications, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, as of July 1, 2025. The bureau will focus on two pillars: ensuring safe living environments for residents across Shikoku's four prefectures and accelerating regional revitalization 2.0. Under the catchphrase "The Digital Power to Change the Future. The Telecommunication Power to Protect Tomorrow," the bureau will strengthen disaster response capabilities for earthquakes, improve radio wave environments, establish safe internet use, promote digital solutions for regional issues, develop digital talent, and enhance inter-agency cooperation.
