This page describes an ICT research and development support seminar held by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' Chugoku Bureau on March 3, 2026, in Hiroshima. A keynote lecture covered emerging technologies including Beyond5G and digital twins. Subsequently, students from national colleges of technology presented ICT-based solutions addressing regional challenges, including crime prevention systems, attendance management systems, library seat reservation systems, and underwater observation streaming. Approximately 90 participants attended both in-person and online, engaging in active discussions with academics and industry experts to promote local R&D capabilities and talent cultivation.
