About this page
This page presents the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' policy evaluation information. Based on the Regulatory Policy Evaluation Implementation Guidelines (partially amended March 15, 2024), the ministry analyzes the costs and benefits of new or abolished regulations before and after implementation, including alternative options. From October 2004 to September 2007, Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA) was piloted to improve objectivity and transparency in regulation-making processes. Annual evaluation results and regulatory impact analysis documents are available on this page.
