This page announces the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' designation of a specified frequency change countermeasure organization to implement frequency changes in the 5.9GHz band for autonomous driving support. Following a public recruitment, the Information and Communications Network Industry Association submitted the only application. The Radio Regulatory Council approved its designation as appropriate. The organization will conduct nationwide frequency changes for existing broadcast fixed-service radio stations to enable V2X communication system deployment. The designation will be publicly announced in the Official Gazette.
