This page warns about fraudulent calls impersonating Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications staff. Scammers pose as employees of various departments or fictional divisions, claiming mobile phone misuse, virus infections, or communication suspension to extract personal information and money. The Ministry clarifies it never calls individuals regarding phone/communication usage or My Number Health Insurance matters, nor requests personal information or funds. Recipients of suspicious calls are advised to contact the nearest Bureau of Telecommunications or police.
