This page announces the publication of the "GCOT Security and Resilience Principles for 6G" by the Global Coalition on Telecommunications (GCOT). The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications compiled this document with relevant government agencies from Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Finland and Sweden have been welcomed as new members after expressing their support. GCOT is a multinational cooperative framework established in October 2023, aiming to enhance telecommunications cooperation, build international consensus on policy, and promote innovation. Previously, GCOT published principles on Open RAN Certification and Artificial Intelligence Adoption in January 2025.
