This page reports on the results of an ICT Mission to Japan hosted by Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications from March 17-19, 2026, under the Brazil-Japan ICT Memorandum of Cooperation signed during President Lula's visit in March 2025. A 15-member Brazilian delegation from the Ministry of Communications, ANATEL, Correios, and CPQD visited Japan. The Second Japan-Brazil Dialogue on Digital Economy was held, during which both countries exchanged views on ICT policy issues including Open RAN, Beam Wireless Power Transfer systems, broadcasting, and postal services, and signed joint minutes on cooperation.
