This page announces that the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) requested Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK) to disseminate information about measures taken in response to COVID-19's influence. Following a state of emergency declaration on January 7, 2021, MIC requested NHK to provide careful explanations regarding overdue reception fees on March 18, and to consider reducing fees for small and medium-sized businesses like hotels on March 30. As NHK's measures were set to expire on March 3, MIC further requested NHK to ensure broadcasting receivers are properly informed of these measures.
