This page presents the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' (MIC) ICT policy initiatives regarding COVID-19. To prevent viral spread, reducing infection risks in crowded locations is critical. Telework is identified as an effective measure, enabling workers to avoid peak hours and work from home. Based on the government's basic policy established February 25, 2020, MIC promotes active telework adoption. The ministry and related agencies offer comprehensive telework support, including consultation on ICT systems, information security, attendance management, and labor administration through web conferences and telephone services.
