About this page
This page explains the Cybersecurity Basic Law, which was established to comprehensively and effectively promote cybersecurity measures in response to increasingly serious global cyber threats accompanying the advancement of the internet and information communication technology. The law defines basic principles, clarifies the responsibilities of national and local governments, and stipulates provisions for formulating cybersecurity strategies. Its purpose is to ensure cybersecurity while maintaining free information flow, thereby enhancing economic vitality and realizing a safe society. Citizens are also encouraged to deepen their understanding of cybersecurity importance and exercise necessary precautions.
