This page presents the results of the "Information Accessibility Best Practices 2023" initiative by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. Applications were accepted from November 7, 2023 to January 19, 2024 for ICT devices and services demonstrating accessibility considerations. A total of 24 submissions were received, and all were recognized as best practices. The evaluation focused on accessibility implementation, incorporation of stakeholder needs, and organizational commitment to accessibility. Applicants ranged from individual developers to large corporations, sharing a genuine commitment to social contribution. These best practices are expected to facilitate social participation and employment of people with disabilities while promoting a society where diverse individuals can enjoy digital benefits.
