This page describes the Personal Information Protection Commission's collaboration with data-related government agencies. The Commission has established cooperative frameworks and memoranda of understanding with cybersecurity agencies including the National Cyber Control Room, Police Cybercrime Bureau, and Information Processing Promotion Agency. The "Personal Information Protection Law Cybersecurity Liaison Meeting" is held quarterly with six participating organizations to discuss countermeasures against increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks targeting personal data. The meeting shares insights on unauthorized access responses and implements coordinated awareness activities across agencies to effectively disseminate information about data breach prevention measures.
