This page announces the recipients and organizations honored in the FY2023 Railway Standardization Activity Awards. Seven individuals who made outstanding contributions to international and domestic standardization activities (ISO, IEC, JIS standards) and six organizations demonstrating exemplary practices were recognized. The awards ceremony was held on March 22, 2024, in Tokyo. This award program, established in 2007, reached its 17th edition this year. Recipients were from East Japan Railway Company, West Japan Railway Company, Hitachi, and Railway Technical Research Institute. The program aims to enhance motivation for standardization activities across the industry.
