This page is a press release from Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) announcing the 7th Japan-Bangladesh Joint PPP Platform Meeting held on March 11, 2025. The meeting reviewed progress on previously selected infrastructure PPP projects and Bangladesh presented 13 new project proposals. Approximately 110 Japanese participants and 40 Bangladeshi officials attended via hybrid format. The day after the meeting, talks were held between Japan's Vice Minister and Bangladesh's Chief Advisor. Bangladeshi government officials also toured high-quality Japanese infrastructure including Haneda Airport Terminal 3 and Tokyo Station to deepen their understanding.
