This page announces the establishment of the "Land Policy Promotion Coordination Council" by Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism on May 10, 2022. The council reorganizes ten regional "Unclear Ownership Land Coordination Councils" established in 2019. The new council expands membership to include municipalities and small real estate organizations, broadening support beyond unclear ownership land issues to encompass underutilized land utilization, vacant property measures, and regional development. Activities include hosting lectures, providing consultation services, sharing case studies, and offering information on land-related policies and procedures. The first event will be held in the Kanto region on May 17.
