This page announces the 2025 Railway Standardization Activity Awards by Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Four individuals with outstanding achievements in international or domestic standardization in railways, five individuals with promising future contributions, and five organizations implementing exemplary practices will be honored on March 16. The awards program, established in 2007, celebrates excellence in ISO/IEC and Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) development activities. Recipients represent major railway organizations and research institutes. The ceremony will be held at Shufukaikan Plaza F in Tokyo.
