This page announces the 14th Transportation Safety Management Promotion Council meeting held by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism on July 22, 2025. The council, comprising private risk management companies, transportation-related organizations, and MLIT, will discuss strengthening promotion activities of the Transportation Safety Management system to small and medium-sized carriers. Since 2006, the system has enhanced safety management structures under management leadership. The agenda includes certified seminars, fiscal 2024 activity reports, and approval of fiscal 2025 activities for promoting the system to smaller operators and personnel development for third-party certification bodies.
