About this page
This page outlines the information disclosure system at the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO). Based on the Information Disclosure Law, any individual can request disclosure of administrative documents. Eligible documents include those created and possessed by staff in their official capacity. Certain documents like registries and legal papers are excluded. Requests can be submitted by mail or online to the General Affairs Division. The fee is 300 yen per request (200 yen online). Disclosure decisions are made within 30 days. Non-disclosure applies only to six categories: personal information, business secrets, diplomatic/defense matters, public safety, decision-making neutrality, and operational interference concerns.
