About this page

This page describes the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's research group on promoting the circulation and utilization of used houses. The group aimed to establish an environment where the quality and performance of used houses are clearly evaluated and appropriately reflected in transaction prices and financial institutions' collateral assessments, thereby maintaining long-term asset value. Three research meetings and multiple study sessions were held from March to June 2013, resulting in a final report. The chair was Professor Yasuhiko Nakashiro from Meikai University, with professors from Waseda University, Nihon University, University of Tokyo, and Nagoya University serving as committee members.
