This page presents historical building preservation and utilization cases by Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Historical buildings form attractive streetscapes and serve as regional landmarks. While aging causes durability and functionality issues, their historical value and community attachment increase over time.
