This page announces the special approval of a COVID-19 therapeutic drug by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare on September 27, 2021. Under Article 14-3 of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law, GlaxoSmithKline K.K.'s "Zebuddy Intravenous Drip Injection 500mg" (generic name: Sotrovimab) has been granted special approval as a treatment for SARS-CoV-2 infection. The application was submitted on September 6, 2021.
