This page is a Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare press release from July 28, 2020, regarding THC-containing CBD products. A company called Kokoro discovered that some CBD products they sold contained trace amounts of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). Analysis found that 5 products—3 bottles of CBDオイルPro900 (10mL) and 2 bottles of CBDオイルPro2700 (30mL)—contained detectable THC levels, potentially violating the Cannabis Control Law. Consumers with these products are asked to submit them to local health authorities. No health incidents have been reported.
