This page announces the voluntary recall of medical devices by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. Nippon Medtronic Co., Ltd. has initiated a recall of the "Sherpa NX Guiding Catheter" (a vascular catheter for central circulatory guidance). A total of 170 units were distributed between July 4, 2017, and October 17, 2018. Further details are available in the press release from Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
