This page announces a medical device voluntary recall issued by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare on January 18, 2019. Medtronic Japan Corporation initiated a recall of three implantable cardiac pacemaker models: Medtronic Adapta DR, Adapta VDD, and Versa DR. A total of 1,158 units were distributed between July 28, 2017, and January 7, 2019. This is a Class I recall.
