This page announces administrative sanctions taken by Tokyo Metropolitan Government against two wholesale pharmaceutical distributors for violations of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law. Following the discovery of counterfeit Harvoni tablets for hepatitis C treatment, Eil Yakuhin Co., Ltd. was ordered to suspend operations for 12 days from April 13-24, 2017, and Daiko Yakuhin Co., Ltd. for 8 days from April 13-20, 2017. Both orders prohibit pharmaceutical sales at their respective locations.
