Due to detection of aflatoxin (a carcinogenic mycotoxin) in voluntary import testing, mandatory inspection for all batches was implemented under the Food Sanitation Law. The violation involved pistachio paste imported by Del Sur Japan Corporation, with 90 cartons (0.27 tons) detecting 50 μg/kg of aflatoxin, exceeding the standard limit of zero tolerance. The affected shipment is under full quarantine.
