This page announces changes to Japan Post Co., Ltd. (6178) stock index calculations. Previously, government-held shares were excluded from index calculations. However, shares released by the government and acquired as treasury stock (102,273,600 shares) will be added to the "listed shares for index calculation" on August 31, 2023. The company's floating stock ratio will also be adjusted accordingly.
