About this page
This page describes the JPX Prime 150 Index provided by Japan Exchange Group. The index comprises 150 listed companies from the Prime Market section of Tokyo Stock Exchange, selected based on two value creation indicators: equity spread (the difference between ROE and cost of equity capital) and PBR (price-to-book ratio). The base date is May 26, 2023 with a base value of 1,000 points, calculated using float-adjusted market capitalization weighting. Real-time calculation and distribution began July 3, 2023, with a dividend-inclusive index available. License agreements with JPX Research are required for using the index in financial products.
