About this page
This page explains the trading unit for domestic stocks on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Trading on the TSE is conducted in units of the number of unit shares stipulated in each listed company's articles of incorporation, with domestic stocks uniformly traded in units of 100 shares. To create a more understandable and convenient market for individual investors, the TSE completed the consolidation of trading units to 100 shares as of October 1, 2018.
