About this page
This page describes the ToSTNeT Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. ToSTNeT (Tokyo Stock Exchange Trading NeTwork System) is an off-floor trading platform launched in 1998 for single-issue and basket trading, with closing price trading added in 1999. It accommodates large-lot and basket trades difficult to execute during regular auction trading sessions. In January 2008, the market became independent from the auction market, trading hours were expanded, and a new platform for listed companies to trade their own shares was introduced. Since then, the system has been continuously improved to enhance convenience through extended trading hours and revised quotation ranges.
