This page introduces Nikkei NEEDS, an ESG rating provider operated by Nikkei Inc. on JPX's ESG Knowledge Hub. Nikkei NEEDS has provided corporate and financial data since 1970. Starting December 2021, it launched "Nikkei ESG Data," collecting approximately 150 items of ESG-related data from listed companies. Key features include coverage of all TSE Prime-listed companies, high accuracy through expert staff verification of disclosure documents, and standardized units enabling easy analysis and comparison across companies. The database includes both quantitative and qualitative information with source references.
