This page announces the Fair Trade Commission's recommendation against SANEI Corporation for violations of the Subcontracting Act. SANEI improperly reduced subcontractor payments by 4.71 million yen between July 2022 and January 2024 under the guise of "purchase discounts." Additionally, SANEI required 50 subcontractors to store 692 molds without compensation and conduct annual inventory checks. The company has already refunded the reduced amounts. The recommendation requires SANEI to pay compensation for storage costs, obtain board approval of corrective measures, conduct legal training for procurement staff, notify employees and subcontractors of actions taken, and report compliance to the Commission.
