This page announces that the Financial Services Agency has enacted and promulgated an amendment to the Cabinet Office Ordinance on Insurance Business Law Enforcement Rules and Prepaid Payment Instruments. The amendment was necessary to implement the revised School Education Law enacted in June 2024. As this constitutes necessary regulatory adjustment accompanying changes to other legislation, no public comment procedure was conducted. The ordinance was promulgated and enforced on April 1, 2026.
