This page presents a dashboard on the implementation status of electronic prescriptions developed by Japan's Digital Agency. Electronic prescriptions, part of the Ministry of Health's medical DX initiative, enable physicians to transmit prescription information electronically to pharmacists through a centralized management service. The dashboard visualizes progress across three stages: expansion of adoption, practical use and establishment, and execution of duplicate medication checks. Implementation status can be viewed by facility type, prefecture, and municipality. As electronic prescriptions become more widespread, patients can receive safer medical care consistently across different facilities, while healthcare providers benefit from reduced administrative burdens.
