About this page
This page provides FAQs about My Number handling by private businesses from the Digital Agency. Private companies can only acquire and use My Numbers for legally mandated administrative procedures such as payroll tax reporting and social insurance applications. My Numbers cannot be used for personal information management. When using My Number Cards for identification, recording the number is prohibited. Business outsourcing requires proper supervision of contractors. All businesses, regardless of size, must implement protective measures for personal information.
