About this page
This page describes "Digital Day," established in 2021 by Japan's Digital Agency. It aims to realize "digital transformation that leaves no one behind and is people-friendly" by providing regular opportunities for society to reflect on, experience, and review digital initiatives. The first Sunday and Monday of October annually designate "Digital Day," with October as "Digital Month." Following the inaugural 2021 event, the 2022 "good digital award" recognized outstanding digital initiatives. From 2023 onwards, the Digital Agency discontinued hosting online events but encourages private organizations and companies to independently implement activities aligned with Digital Day and Digital Month.
