About this page
This page describes the RegTech Community operated by Japan's Digital Agency to promote analog regulation reform through technology. The community facilitates opinion exchange and information sharing among stakeholders working on regulatory modernization. Main activities include "RegTech Meet," monthly online events featuring technology companies and regulated businesses; "RegTech Café," community exchange events; and a Slack-based community platform. The initiative was renamed from "RegTech Consortium" to "RegTech Community" in October 2024. The goal is to replace analog methods like visual inspections and patrols with technological solutions, welcoming company and business participation through registration.
