This page outlines Digital Agency's personal information protection system based on the Personal Information Protection Act. Individuals can request disclosure, correction, or cessation of use of their personal information held by the Digital Agency. Disclosure requests are decided within 30 days for a 300 yen fee. Correction and cessation requests are free. All requests require identity verification documents, and proxy applications via power of attorney are available. Appeals against unfavorable decisions can be made under the Administrative Complaints Review Act.
