This page announces a public comment period for revising the CRYPTREC Cryptographic Algorithm List, jointly administered by the Digital Agency, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, and Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. The original list, established in March 2013, is being updated based on a cryptographic algorithm usage survey. The comment period runs from March 9 to March 23, 2023. The revised list will be promptly formulated and published following the public feedback. Submissions are accepted via email, mail, or through the e-Gov portal.
